“Embrace the glorious mess that you are”
Photography is an art that allows me to be creative and express myself when there are no words left to speak. I’ve always had a love for capturing unanticipated moments on my disposable camera since elementary. I purchased my first camera in college to document the beauty of every day life. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into me finding my purpose after the birth of my son. Someday I will forget the memories I shared with the people I love the most so I take millions of pictures to preserve the moments that will one day be a legacy.
I believe photography is my ministry not a business transaction. I thrive off encouraging others to dream bigger, celebrate small victories and embrace the glorious mess that you are. As a storyteller, I try my best to not pose people but direct you to live in the moment. l ’m a big kid at heart so I may have you running around, whispering in each others ear, impersonating a family member or channeling your inner Beyoncé’. I want to create lasting friendships because in the end “we are all just walking each other home.”
Wife. Mama. Photographer
I’m a free-spirit country gal that loves to have a good time. I was born in a small town where everyone knows your whole bloodline called Bluefield, WV and now live in Northern Virginia. I have a MBA and work as Management Consultant full-time in the federal space. My happiest days are spent having dance parties in the kitchen with my family, teaching my son how to be a good human and filing our life with adventure.
I believe laughter is good for the soul. I eat wayyy too many tacos. Juice cleanses are life. The beach is my therapy. I live for summer nights, daily quotes and always take the scenic route. I love mid century modern and bohemian designs. I prefer phone calls over text and meeting new people is my jam!
